Winter Skills Clinics with Delaney Mosley (University of Illinois) & Yasmin Burrell (Coppin State University)

All-three Package

This camp provides softball athletes ages 13–17 with structured, college-level instruction focused on fundamental skill development, technical precision, and position-specific growth. Participants may register for individual sessions or attend the full three-hour curriculum.

Hosted indoors at the Nationals Youth Academy in Washington, D.C., and presented in partnership with DC ELITE NIKE RBI, this camp is led by two active Division I student-athletes who bring experience, technical knowledge, and demonstrated competitive success.

Training Schedule

5:00–6:00 PM – Fielding Instruction - Click Here
Athletes will focus on proper footwork, glove presentation, ball angles, throwing mechanics, and defensive efficiency to support consistent and repeatable execution.

6:00–7:00 PM – Hitting Development - Click Here
Training will emphasize swing mechanics, timing, bat path, quality contact, and approach—mirroring drills utilized at the collegiate level to improve offensive consistency and power production.

7:00–8:00 PM – Catching Training - Click Here
This session includes receiving, blocking technique, transfer and throwing mechanics, footwork, pitch presentation, and leadership and communication responsibilities behind the plate.

Yasmin Burrell – Catcher, Coppin State University

Yasmin Burrell is an incoming freshman softball player at Coppin State University, where she competes as a catcher, middle infielder, and third baseman. Known for her leadership, defensive versatility, and strong work ethic, she is excited to coach at the Nat Youth Academy DC Elite Nike RBI Winter Camp alongside Coach Harry and Delaney Mosely. Yasmin is passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, develop fundamentals, and compete with heart.
