Winter Technique Swim Clinic with Isabella Abrajan & Mark Schubert
Sharpen your competitive edge this winter with a high-level technique clinic led by Duke standout Isabella Abrajan and legendary Olympic coach Mark Schubert. This clinic is designed for swimmers ages 10–18 who want to improve the technical components that make the biggest difference in racing: starts, turns, and underwater speed.

What to Expect

Upon arrival, swimmers will be grouped by age and ability. Each group will rotate through specialized instruction stations, giving every participant hands-on coaching and detailed feedback in:

• Explosive race starts

• Faster, more efficient turns

• Underwater technique and breakout speed

Isabella Abrajan – Duke University

A standout ACC butterfly specialist and academic honoree, Isabella brings competitive excellence, strong technical understanding, and years of elite swimming experience. She has earned:

• ACC Academic Honor Roll & All-ACC Academic Team honors

• Top finishes at major collegiate meets including the CSCAA National Invitational Championship

• Lifetime success as a member of Mission Viejo Nadadores and as a Mexican National Team gold medalist in the 200m Butterfly

Mark Schubert – Olympic & World Championship Coach

One of the most decorated coaches in the history of American swimming, Mark Schubert has coached:

• 10 Olympic Champions

• 22 Olympic swimmers

• 65 U.S. National Championship teams
  He has served as both Head and Assistant Coach for multiple Olympic and World Championship teams and is a five-time ASCA Coach of the Year.
