Get ready for a high-energy, high-level day of wrestling development with Micah Medina, 125lb wrestler at Bellarmine University and leader of the Claw & Conquer Wrestling Club. This MLK Day camp is built for athletes who want to sharpen fundamentals, level up their technique, and train with the intensity of a Division I athlete.
What Athletes Can Expect
• Technical instruction on takedowns and top/bottom chain wrestling
• High-intensity drilling to build speed, timing, and confidence
• Live wrestling scenarios focused on decision-making under pressure
• Competition-style conditioning and mental toughness development
• A positive but demanding environment designed for real growth
• Coaching that emphasizes discipline, effort, and improvement every session
A lunch break will be included (please bring your own lunch).
The day will close with a Q+A session covering college wrestling, recruiting, and what it takes to compete at the next level.
Ages: 5–18
Athletes will be grouped by age, skill level, and weight class for the best training experience.
About Claw & Conquer Wrestling Club – Southern Indiana
Claw & Conquer is a newly founded wrestling club in Southern Indiana built on grit, discipline, and a winning mindset. Led by Division I wrestler Micah Medina, the club brings elite technique, high-level intensity, and a culture of accountability to every training session.
Focused on developing strong fundamentals, confidence, and competitive growth, Claw & Conquer prepares athletes of all ages to succeed both on and off the mat.
About Coach Micah Medina
2024–25 Season: Competed in three tournaments—twice at 125 and once at 133. Finished the year 2–6, opening 1–2 at the Clarion Open (125), wrestling at 133 at the Soldier Salute (0–2), and finishing with a 1–2 performance at the Greyhound Open (125).
2023–24 Season: As a freshman, wrestled nine times in open tournaments, going 4–5 with two wins by fall and one by tech fall.
Why Bellarmine? Medina chose Bellarmine for its strong family atmosphere.
Personal Background:
• Son of Jen & Matt; brother to Joshua & Jaylee
• Multi-sport athlete at Clay High School (wrestling, soccer, baseball, cross country)
• Four-time state qualifier and three-time state placer in high school
• Hobbies include fishing, golf, and pickleball
• Favorite music: Country
