Elite Lacrosse Skills Clinic with Shea Panzik
PORT WASHINGTON, NY - Competitive lacrosse players gathered on Saturday at Unlimited Sports Action for an Elite Lacrosse Skills Clinic led by Shea Panzik, a Division I attacker from Vanderbilt University.
Hosted on the indoor turf at Unlimited Sports Action, the clinic brought together middle school athletes eager to sharpen their offensive skill set in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Designed for players pushing toward the next level, the session emphasized advanced offensive techniques, decision-making under pressure, and the speed required to succeed in today’s game.
Panzik found the experience meaningful and successful saying “All of the girls came ready to work, applied every correction, asked questions, kept energy high and had fun! This group was a testament to why I love helping young players grow!”
Throughout the clinic, Panzik led high-tempo stations focused on dodging, change of direction, shooting mechanics, and finishing under defensive pressure. Athletes cycled through competitive drills that tested footwork, confidence, and game IQ, with live-play situations allowing players to apply skills in real-time. Panzik provided hands-on feedback during reps, helping athletes make small adjustments that translated immediately on the field.
Beyond skill work, players had the opportunity to learn directly from Panzik about her collegiate experience at Vanderbilt, including training habits, mindset, and the balance of academics and athletics. The session concluded with a Q&A where athletes asked questions about recruiting, preparation, and what it takes to compete in the SEC.
Families described the clinic as an impactful opportunity for athletes to train with a current Division I player who brings both elite playing experience and a positive, demanding coaching approach. The Elite Lacrosse Skills Clinic is part of a growing series of athlete-led training events, giving young players access to high-level instruction while creating meaningful NIL opportunities for college athletes like Panzik.
