Lacrosse Clinic with Anna Taraboletti

FRANKLIN, TN — Youth lacrosse players took the field at TOCA Soccer on January 10 for the Lacrosse Skills Clinic with Vanderbilt Lacrosse Players, a high-energy, athlete-led training experience presented in partnership with NoExcuse Lacrosse.
Designed as a focused two-hour development session, the clinic welcomed players in the ’31–’35 age groups for fast-paced, fundamentals-driven instruction on premier indoor turf. Athletes rotated through skill stations emphasizing stick work, shooting mechanics, defensive technique, and game IQ, with drills structured to keep players active, engaged, and constantly challenged.
Led by Anna Taraboletti and her Vanderbilt teammates, the clinic blended technical teaching with competitive gameplay to help athletes build confidence and sharpen decision-making. Each segment reinforced core fundamentals while introducing concepts that translate directly to higher levels of play, allowing players to understand not just how to execute skills, but when and why to use them in game situations.
Taraboletti, a standout midfielder for the Vanderbilt Commodores, brought a Division I perspective shaped by consistent on-field contributions and academic excellence. Drawing from her experience competing at the collegiate level, she and her teammates emphasized effort, communication, and accountability, helping young athletes connect skill development with leadership and mindset.
“It was so fun getting to share my love for lacrosse with these girls!” Anna said. “They absolutely crushed it! I can’t wait to see all they do as they progress in their lacrosse careers!”
Throughout the session, players worked closely with the Vanderbilt athletes, receiving individualized feedback and encouragement in an environment that balanced intensity with approachability. The clinic also introduced athletes to the habits and standards required to compete at the next level, highlighting the importance of preparation, teamwork, and passion for the game.
Families praised the clinic for its positive atmosphere, high-level instruction, and the opportunity for young players to learn directly from Division I athletes. With a portion of proceeds supporting NoExcuse Lacrosse Teams, the event combined skill development with community impact, reinforcing the power of athlete-led programming.
The Lacrosse Skills Clinic with Vanderbilt Lacrosse Players is part of a growing series of experiences that connect youth athletes with collegiate competitors while creating meaningful NIL opportunities for college players to give back through the sport.
