David Gapinski

I’m a coach who leads with energy, encouragement, and a deep belief in the process. I take pride in helping swimmers build confidence and chase goals that once felt out of reach. I grew up swimming in Florida and went on to become a Division I athlete at Georgia Tech. My journey wasn’t traditional—I started as a walk-on and had to earn every opportunity, which taught me the value of grit, consistency, and self-belief. Through that process, I became a two-time NCAA Championship qualifier and a U.S. Nationals qualifier, and I also broke two school records.
