Alana Josey

Hi! I'm Alana Josey, a second-year graduate student and competitive swimmer with 18 years of experience in the pool. I swim for Howard University, where I hold school records in the 1650 freestyle and 200 butterfly and placed 3rd in the NEC for the 200 fly. I earned my BA in Political Science with a minor in Criminology, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and am now pursuing my Master’s in Sociology. I’m passionate about creating inclusive spaces in swimming and am excited to bring my experience and energy to the Howard Swim & Dive coaching staff this year!
