About this event

Santa Clara University Men's Soccer Insider Development Camp

Top Tier is proud to host four Santa Clara University men's soccer players for a two-day camp unlike anything available in the Bay Area. Santa Clara's program is one of the most competitive in the West Coast Conference, and these four athletes — a forward, midfielder, goalkeeper, and defender — bring All-WCC recognition, ECNL national championship experience, and a combined résumé that includes goals against Stanford, penalty kick saves against top-5 programs, and academic all-district honors. Over three hours each day, campers will train in small groups, receive real-time coaching feedback, and build genuine relationships with college athletes who compete at the highest level of the college game. Open to boys ages 7–14, all experience levels welcome. This is two days your athlete will not forget.

Each day is designed to build on the last — Day 1 focuses on technical skill development through collegiate-level drills and stations, and Day 2 brings those skills into competitive scrimmage situations with live coaching from the athletes in addition to technical development. Athletes will walk away with:

  • Skill stations and position-specific drills led directly by Santa Clara players

  • Personalized feedback and coaching

  • Day 2 includes scrimmage play with real-time feedback from athlete-coaches

  • A Q&A session covering what it's like to be a Santa Clara men's soccer athlete — recruiting, college life, mindset, and what it takes to compete at the next level

  • Time to build real relationships with four collegiate athletes over two full days

  • Autographs and photos

Small groups mean more reps, more feedback, and a more personal experience for every athlete on the field.

Coach Bios

Tyler Tipton Tyler is a senior forward at Santa Clara University and one of the most proven goal-scorers in the WCC — he led the team with five goals in 2024, including two game-winners, and opened his senior season with a goal against then-No. 4 Stanford. Before Santa Clara, Tyler led the California Collegiate Athletic Association in goals as a transfer from Stanislaus State, earning CCAA Forward of the Year, first team All-CCAA, and CSC Academic All-American second team honors. A graduate of Sonora High School, Tyler brings a finisher's mentality and a proven track record of developing in competitive environments at every level.

Jackson Ozburn Jackson is a senior goalkeeper at Santa Clara University and one of the most decorated keepers in the WCC — a 2025 All-WCC Second Team honoree who was named WCC Defensive Player of the Week three times in a single season. He recorded seven shutouts in 2025, including over then-No. 11 San Diego and then-No. 5 Portland — snapping Portland's 23-match unbeaten streak — and posted a streak of 318 consecutive shutout minutes. Before Santa Clara, Jackson was a standout at Crossfire Premier, earning ECNL Boys U18-19 All-American honors, U19 Boys National Player of the Year recognition, and saving eight of ten penalty kicks during an ECNL National Championship run. He brings elite goalkeeper-specific instruction and a champion's composure to every training environment.

Will Wiersdorf Will is a junior midfielder and co-captain at Santa Clara University, a two-time All-WCC Second Team selection (2024 & 2025), and one of the program's most complete players — leading the team with six goals and 48 shots in 2025 while logging 1,574 minutes of action. A 2025 WCC All-Academic First Team and CSC Academic All-District honoree, Will brings elite on-field production and a deep commitment to the game at every level. Before Santa Clara, he earned Sophomore of the Year honors in the East Bay Athletic League at San Ramon Valley High. Will is the kind of player young athletes can model their all-around game after.

Quinn Garrett Quinn is a sophomore defender at Santa Clara University and a 2025 WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention and CSC Academic All-District selection who has started in 16 of 17 matches this season, logging over 1,300 minutes of action. A graduate of La Costa Canyon High School in Encinitas, Quinn also participated in the 2021 MLS Next "Best of" game — a recognition reserved for top performers in the country's most competitive youth development league. Off the field, he volunteers in community service including feeding the homeless and less fortunate families on Thanksgiving. Quinn brings a defender's discipline and a team-first attitude to every session.
